Privacy Notice

This page explains, in plain language, what happens to the information you send through this website and what the site measures while you are reading it. If anything here is unclear, write to naiarabelart@gmail.com and we will explain it.

Who is responsible

Naiara Belart García, Geneva, Switzerland — naiarabelart@gmail.com. She decides what this site collects and why.

What we collect, and why

Request forms. When you ask for the Physical Kit or a workshop proposal, we receive what you type: your name, email address, telephone number, the school or institution you write from, the delivery address, the number of copies, and anything you add in the free-text boxes. It is used only to answer you, work out delivery costs and prepare a quotation — never to send you marketing.

The purchasing and request forms are intended for adults. Please do not submit personal information about a child unless it is necessary for the request and you are authorised to do so.

Purchases. If you buy the Digital Kit, the payment is handled by Stripe. Naiara sees your name, your email address and what you bought. Your card number never reaches this website.

Measurement. Only if you accept. Page views are then counted so Naiara can see which pages are read and in which language. These statistics are not intended to identify you by name, but Google Analytics may process technical identifiers such as cookie identifiers, device information and approximate location. If you decline, Google Analytics is not activated. The site's hosting and security systems may still process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website.

We process enquiries and orders because this is necessary to respond to your request, prepare a quotation or fulfil a purchase. We keep legally required transaction records to comply with accounting and tax obligations. Essential technical information is processed to operate and secure the website. Google Analytics is used only with your consent.

Service providers and other recipients

A few companies handle parts of this information: Webflow (hosting the site and storing form submissions), a private server rented from Contabo in France (a second copy of each form submission), Brevo (sends the confirmation and notification emails), Stripe (payments), Google Analytics (measurement, only with your consent), Weglot (the French and Spanish versions of the site) and Memberstack (the login on the older course pages). Google Fonts also receives your IP address when a page loads its typefaces. These providers process information according to their respective roles, service agreements and privacy notices. Some providers may process information outside Switzerland, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers are protected through a recognised adequacy framework, approved contractual clauses or another legally permitted safeguard. You may contact Naiara for further information about the safeguards applicable to a particular provider. Nothing is sold to anyone, nothing is used for advertising, and this site sets no advertising cookies.

Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser stores. When you first arrive, a banner asks whether you agree to being counted. Nothing is measured until you choose: if you accept, Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_BW0FWG0SQR; if you decline, neither is ever set. Either way a small cookie remembers your answer so you are not asked again. A few cookies are always needed for the site to work at all — Weglot remembers the language you are reading in, and Memberstack keeps you signed in if you log in. If you change your mind, clear this site's cookies in your browser and the question will be asked again.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not result in an order are normally deleted within 24 months after the last exchange. Order, invoice and payment records are generally retained for 10 years where required by Swiss accounting and tax law. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, deleted automatically by Google's own systems. Some information may be retained longer where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Today, form and order deletions against these periods are carried out by hand rather than by an automatic system — write to naiarabelart@gmail.com and a deletion can be actioned directly at any time, sooner if you prefer.

Your choices

Depending on the law applicable to you, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction or deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw your analytics consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions, including obligations to retain transaction records. Write to naiarabelart@gmail.com and Naiara will reply. If you are in Switzerland you may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner; in the EU or the UK, your national data protection authority.
